James 1:27 says: “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”

God loves everybody and He has not forgotten about widows.  In fact the Bible says in Deuteronomy 10:18: “He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow…”

God has called us to help these women who are in need.  Many developing countries do not have government programs to help widows.  Many of them go hungry, without and even die.
