Le Dinh Hoang

(1972-2011)

(Church Built in Sierra Leone)

Le “Hy” Dinh Hoang was born in Vietnam on February 1, 1972.  In 1985, Le immigrated to the United States with his parents and siblings.

Le graduated from Virginia Tech as a biology and biochemistry major.  Le pursued many interests including computer technology, business, and most recently as a barber in Alexandria.

Le chose to be a barber to give himself the chance and flexibility, to be close to his Mom and other relatives in this area, to drive his brothers and sisters and his extended Vietnamese family to various places, and to help them with the many challenges confronting newcomers to the United States.

Le was committed to the welfare of children and will be especially remembered for his kindness and devotion to his family and friends.  As one of the eldest sons, his guidance, support, and selflessness provided the foundation for who his family is today.  They will honor his legacy by embodying his warm and loving spirit.
